Senior Pensions Officer | 10510 | Permanent Contract | 37 hours per week | £37,280 to £39,152 per annum (Scale I) | County Hall, Norwich   An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Pension Officer to join our busy Member Services team at the Norfolk Pension Fund, helping us deliver a first‑class service to members of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS). The Norfolk Pension Fund provides pension services to over 425 employers and supports more than 100,000 active, deferred and pensioner members. About the Role As a Senior Pension Officer, you will: * Manage and oversee incoming enquiries. Work closely with Pension Consultants and other colleagues to resolve technically complex issues, ensuring service delivery meets agreed KPIs and SLAs. * Interpret and accurately apply pension legislation and regulations, providing high‑quality technical advice across the full range of member life‑cycle events within the LGPS. * Support, guide and develop Pension Officers by sharing specialist LGPS knowledge and expertise, helping to ensure the accurate, efficient, fair and consistent application of regulations, policies, local procedures and internal controls. * Promote and maintain best‑practice guidance across all areas of pension administration, including complex domestic and overseas transfers of pension rights, and ensure that risks associated with pension transfers are appropriately understood, highlighted and managed.   The Member Services team works in a fast‑paced environment, so you will need to manage your workload effectively, work collaboratively with colleagues and consistently deliver a high standard of service.
