DESCRIPTION:
Who Are CPP?
CPP is a leading high-voltage infrastructure provider, connecting renewable energy projects to Australia’s electricity grid.
As a member of Quanta Services, a Fortune 500 company ranked #192 on the NYSX, we specialise in the design, construction, commissioning, and maintenance of substations, transmission lines, wind farms, and battery storage systems.
Established in 1996, we’ve connected more wind farms and renewable batteries than any other company. With over 700 employees and offices in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane, we partner with Australia’s major transmission providers to deliver innovative, end-to-end solutions.
Join us in shaping the future of energy.
The Opportunity
CPP is seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to help shape and deliver the strategic direction of our People & Culture function, while staying actively engaged in core generalist HR activities.
As a trusted partner to business leaders, you will provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, change initiatives, talent and succession planning, and the continuous improvement of our people practices.
Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, you’ll influence outcomes through strategic advice on workforce planning, leadership development, and employee engagement.
Reporting to the Executive General Manager – People & Culture, you’ll join a highly collaborative and passionate team with deep expertise across talent acquisition, employee relations, organisational development, and generalist HR.
As CPP continues to expand in the energy infrastructure sector, this role offers a unique opportunity to help shape a high-performance, people-first culture in a business that’s powering Australia’s energy future.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:
About You
7+ years experience as a HR professional in a large, heavy industry organisation such as construction, mining or energy
Degree qualifications in Human Resource Management, Business Management, or Psychology.
Strong understanding of Australian employment legislation and contemporary HR practices
Experience working with HR systems and data to support decision making
Highly developed communication skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Be rewarded at CPP.
