About Booktime: Booktime, a Hindawi Foundation initiative, is a global charitable digital publisher. We create and share beautifully illustrated children’s books in multiple languages for free. Books help children see further, think bigger, and dream deeper. Reading changes everything. The Role: The Senior Performance Marketing Specialist will lead our user acquisition and engagement strategy for our free kids' book platform (App & Web). The primary mission is to aggressively scale our user base (Installs & Signups) while optimizing for user quality to maximize Reading Time and retention. This role is responsible for enhancing our tracking infrastructure and managing multichannel campaigns that turn casual browsers into loyal, daily readers. Key Responsibilities: Plan and execute daily paid campaigns across multiple channels, focusing on App Installs and Web Signups to scale the user base effectively. Define and implement required user events (e.g., Signups, Reading Actions) to ensure campaigns target users who actively read, not just install. Analyze campaign performance against retention and reading time metrics to identify trends and allocate budgets toward high-quality user sources. Brief and collaborate with the creative team on high-performing ad formats and test new messaging and creative angles to improve engagement and reduce acquisition costs. Identify opportunities for automation in bidding, reporting, and optimization to scale results efficiently without increasing manual workload. Ensure full adherence to monthly budgets and performance targets. Advise on integrated user journeys across website and mobile app to improve conversion and retention. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Growth Metrics: Total App Installs, New Account Signups Cost Efficiency: CPI (Cost Per Install), CPS (Cost Per Signup) User Quality: Average Reading Time per New User Tracking Delivery: Clear and documented Event Tracking Plan for developers Budget Management: 100% adherence to monthly spending limits Qualifications and Experience: 3–6 years of experience in performance marketing Strong hands-on experience running integrated ads across multiple platforms, particularly Google Ads and Meta Strategic understanding of tracking and measurement (Pixels, Events, MMPs) and ability to guide developers Experience scaling mobile apps is a strong advantage Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic Job Competencies: Communication skills Problem-solving skills Analytical thinking Attention to detail Continuous learning mindset Effective time management
