Senior Pharmacy Technician - Dispensary and Distribution
Base site – Pilgrim Hospital Boston
Band 6 (£37,338- £44,962)
37.5 hours per week (full time)
09:00-17:15 Mon-Fri. 09:30-13:15 Sat, Sun and bank holidays (rota)

The Pharmacy Departments within ULHT provide ward-based, dispensary, and aseptic dispensing services to a range of general and specialist areas including admissions unit, general medical and surgical, haematology and oncology and critical care wards. We have a good integrated team of Clinical Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians and Support Workers and there is a supportive Pharmacy Education and Training team.
This post will be based at Pilgrim Hospital Boston but the successful applicant may need to travel to other sites within the Trust. The successful applicant will be expected to participate in the existing weekend and bank holiday rotas within the pharmacy dispensary.
You will need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be confident speaking to patients, nursing staff, prescribers and other health care staff. You will need to have experience working as a pharmacy technician in a hospital or community setting. Experience of using pharmacy specific computer systems such as EMIS or JAC is desirable.
