1 PART TIME PERMANENT 0.6 POSITION

Horizons is seeking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic Senior Physiotherapist - Part Time. The successful applicant will work within an interdisciplinary team as a member of Children’s Disability Network Team 8, Central Cork.
The post holders will support to children with complex needs, and their families. This will include children with physical disabilities, intellectual disabilities and autism.
Responsibilities will include collaborative goal setting, individual and group intervention, assessment and monitoring of physical development and postural management equipment prescription to children with complex needs arising from a disability.
The post holder will work across a variety of settings including the clinic, hydrotherapy pool, preschools, schools, special schools, children’s homes and community settings. CDNT 8 work closely with CHO4 Physical Disability Support Services to assess and monitor the complex physical and orthopaedic needs of the children on the caseload (posture, muscle length and muscle tone, hip and spinal surveillance.)
