POSITION SUMMARY

Join our dynamic team as a Senior Piping Designer on a 12-month contract, where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of mining and minerals processing projects. Based in Perth and reporting to the Drawing Office Manager, you’ll engage in a variety of projects from concept to commissioning. Your key responsibilities will include producing detailed technical drawings, ensuring compliance with standards, and providing innovative solutions to meet project timelines and budgets. You’ll also lead and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.

• Produce detailed technical drawings in accordance with standards, policies, and procedures.
• Communicate with the project team, provide updates, raise issues, and attend team meetings.
• Deliver and contribute to practical solutions for diverse projects in the mining and minerals processing sector.
• Ensure project time and cost are met by monitoring the effectiveness of designs, scheduling of work, and resource requirements.
• Review compliance with project execution plans and client expectations.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior team members.
• Demonstrate a high standard of personal safety and safe design practices.
• Utilize proficiency in MicroStation design software to enhance project outcomes.
• Innovate and work autonomously to meet project deadlines.
