We are seeking an experienced Senior Piping Engineer to lead piping engineering activities and support the successful execution of EPC, fabrication, and construction projects. Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Piping Engineer to support the Design Engineering and Construction Engineering functions through the development, review, and coordination of piping engineering deliverables. The successful candidate will be responsible for piping design, material specifications, 3D modelling reviews, technical coordination, and providing engineering support throughout the project lifecycle while ensuring compliance with client requirements, ADNOC standards, international codes, and project specifications. Key Responsibilities • Prepare piping designs based on customer requirements, applicable codes, standards, regulations, and project specifications. • Develop and review piping material specifications, piping classes, and engineering deliverables. • Guide and mentor Piping Engineers, Designers, and Draftsmen in the development of 3D models for feasibility studies, basic engineering, and detailed design. • Review and approve Piping General Arrangement (GA) Drawings, Isometric Drawings, Pipe Support Drawings, and fabrication drawings. • Review piping layouts to ensure constructability, maintainability, and compliance with project requirements. • Conduct and review 3D model clash detection reports and coordinate resolutions with other engineering disciplines. • Prepare and review Material Take-Offs (MTOs), Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and Purchase Requisitions. • Support Procurement activities through technical bid evaluations and review of vendor documentation. • Review client specifications, design input documents, project standards, and engineering requirements. • Review and approve engineering deliverables received from vendors, consultants, and subcontractors. • Initiate and manage Technical Queries (TQs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) with clients and stakeholders. • Coordinate with Structural, Mechanical, E&I, HVAC, and Process Engineering disciplines to resolve interface issues. • Provide technical support to Construction, Fabrication, Production, QA/QC, and Procurement teams during project execution. • Resolve technical queries and engineering clarifications raised by fabrication and construction teams. • Participate in design reviews, HAZOP studies, constructability reviews, and project meetings as required. • Ensure all engineering deliverables comply with project schedules, quality requirements, and company procedures. • Support estimation activities through preparation of MTOs, BOQs, and engineering inputs for tender submissions. • Carry out additional responsibilities assigned by Engineering Management to ensure successful project completion. Qualifications & Experience Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant piping engineering experience, preferably 12–15 years within Oil & Gas, EPC, fabrication, offshore, or industrial projects. Technical Qualification: Formal training in Piping Engineering. Experience with ADNOC projects and international engineering standards is highly desirable. Skills: Strong piping design, engineering review, multidisciplinary coordination, technical leadership, and problem-solving capabilities. Software: Proficient in AutoCAD, 3D Design Software (PDMS, E3D, Plant 3D, SP3D, or equivalent), CAESAR II, and MS Office. Knowledge: Strong understanding of ASME, API, ASTM, ADNOC specifications, piping stress analysis, material selection, fabrication methodologies, pipe support design, and engineering best practices.
