QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Experience: Minimum 10 - 15 years in piping engineering within the Oil & Gas, Energy, or Industrial sectors.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of piping stress analysis, pipe routing, and industry codes (ASME B31.3, API, ASTM).
  • Project Experience: Must have experience in Gas Processing projects.
  • Team Handling: Must have experience in handling a team of Engineers.

Responsibilities
  • Piping Design & Engineering: Lead and oversee the development of piping layouts, isometric drawings, and material specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, civil, and electrical engineers, to ensure seamless integration of piping systems.
  • Technical Review & Compliance: Ensure all piping designs, calculations, and specifications adhere to international standards (ASME, API, etc.) and project requirements.
  • Material Selection & Procurement: Identify suitable piping materials, conduct technical evaluations, and provide procurement recommendations.
  • Construction & Installation Support: Provide on-site and remote support during construction, resolving technical challenges and ensuring smooth execution.
  • Quality & Safety Assurance: Implement best practices for QA/QC, risk assessment, and safety compliance related to piping systems.
  • Mentorship & Leadership: Guide and support junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key technical liaison with clients, vendors, and project managers to address engineering concerns and ensure project alignment.
