Job Description Review supplier documentation, perform quality review and track document progress. Review project time schedule and Client contract. Support construction and commissioning, select pipe material and weight estimate (e.g. BoQ preparation). Create new pipe classes, maintain existing and select pipe material based on process requirements. Contribute to create, maintain and improve standard documentation (e.g. Work Instructions). Prepare technical specifications for Pipe Material, Pipe Supports and provide support for Piping Detail Engineering, prepare piping strength calculation and pipe support details and criteria. Manage suppliers throughout the project, including reviewing all supplier documentation. Qualifications Very good product and system knowledge, i.e. expertise in piping materials, codes and standards (ASME / EN), prefabrication, cleaning, erection, quality assurance (workshop and erection) including pressure test procedures. 7+ years of experience in piping design of heavy industrial plants, power plants or Oil and Gas plant. Knowledge of 3D design tools and CAE tools (e.g. COMOS) and 3D viewers (e.g. Navisworks). Fluency in English (German would be of advantage).
