Overview:
GovCIO is currently hiring for a Senior PKI Administrator with an active Secret clearance to issue and maintain a federal customer’s Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) tokens as prescribed by the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) for classified networks. This position will be located in Arlington, VA, and will be a fully onsite position.
Responsibilities:
- Manages the Registration Authority/Trusted Agent (RA/TA) processes, roles, and responsibilities throughout the enterprise using the Registration Practice Statement (RPS).
- Directs project-based certificate registration and revocation processes across classified networks while guiding clients requesting software access.
- Designs and implements complex, multi-sector policies and processes, covering all aspects of project cycle management.
- Reviews, issues, and requests, resolving customer inquiries regarding certificate issuance, revocation, and overall applicability/usage.
- Serves as an Advisor and Liaison while participating in ad-hoc internal and Federal PKI compliance audits.
- Functions as the Lead Registration Authority Officer focused on ensuring all subscribers appropriately present the necessary credentials for registration.
- Reviews and validates records associated with applicable Certificate Policy, Certificate Practice Statements, and Registration Practice Statement.
- Formulates critical objectives, priorities, and process improvements, implementing them in conjunction with company vision and program goals, capitalizing on opportunities, and managing risks.
- Encourages multifunctional and cross-departmental collaboration, mitigating employee issues and streamlining communication processes.
- Measures high-quality, timely, and cost-effective results, actively accepting responsibility for mistakes and complying with established processes and requirements.
- Functions as a strong problem-solver, effectively identifying and analyzing problems, generating, and evaluating alternative solutions, and making appropriate data-driven recommendations.
Qualifications:
High School with 9+ years (or commensurate experience)
Required Skills and Experience
- Clearance Required: Active Secret with the ability to obtain and hold DEA suitability
- 5 years of experience with enterprise-class security technologies
- 3 years of work experience in services consulting, delivering security projects for clients
- 3+ years of professional work experience in a related field such as Public Key Infrastructure, Infrastructure IT (Systems Administration, Network Administration, Windows/Linux OS, Network Administration, Active Directory, and/or Virtualization
- Familiarity with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework of Change/Incident/Problem management
