The opportunity As a Senior Planner you will report to the E&U Planning Manager working across Power Projects, Transmission Lines and Substations projects. You will be responsible for preparing, maintaining and monitoring schedules for the program and projects delivered under Build Better Together. This full-time permanent role will be based out of our Adelaide office with flexible/hybrid working. You will also be required to travel to site when required. What you’ll do * Work across the Bid and Delivery stages of multiple projects. * Prepare resource and cost loaded detailed project delivery schedules, for allocated projects/work packages, using past construction knowledge and experience that accurately reflect the conditions of the contract, design and specifications. * Maintain and update the project schedule, where applicable, incorporating subcontract schedules, to ensure appropriate execution of work package plans are completed as required. * Ensure compliance with Downer’s Standards and requirements as set by Utilities Performance Commercial & Risk Team, in terms of Schedule Quality and Change Management. * Perform delay analysis as needed by the Contract and support with suitable narrative. * Manage/ undertake, review and analysis of sub-contractor schedules to confirm alignment with good scheduling practice and Downer standards and requirements. * Assist in the development of project practices and procedures. * Undertake reporting requirements of internal and external stakeholders.
