THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Senior Planner you will report into the Project Controls Manager and work across one of our water and wastewater programs in the Energy & Utilities Business. Responsible for preparing, maintaining and monitoring schedules for the program and projects delivered under Build Better Together.
This full-time permanent role and will be based out of our client’s office in Mango Hill with on-site parking available.

• Prepare resource and cost loaded detailed project delivery schedules, for allocated projects/work packages, using past construction knowledge and experience that accurately reflect the conditions of the contract, design and specifications.
• Maintain and update the project master schedule, where applicable, incorporating subcontract schedules, to ensure appropriate execution of work package plans are completed as required.
• Ensure compliance with Downer’s standards and requirements as set by Utilities Performance Commercial & Risk Team, in terms of Schedule Quality and Change Management.
• Perform delay analysis as needed by the Contract and support with suitable narrative.
• Manage/ undertake, review and analysis of sub-contractor schedules to confirm alignment with good scheduling practice and Downer standards and requirements.
• Assist in the development of project practices and procedures.
• Undertake reporting requirements of internal and external stakeholders.
