PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Monitoring long-term production capacity and volume allocation on the global level across all manufacturing sites and product groups.
  • Evaluating supply chain impacts shaped by long-term market trends, product portfolio shifts, regulatory and legislative developments, and geopolitical conditions in relation to our global footprint.
  • Developing manufacturing network optimisation scenarios to support long-term business choices.
  • Initiating, facilitating, and contributing to capacity expansion initiatives.
  • Managing the central machinery database to maintain visibility of available production lines, their throughput, and technical capabilities.
  • Supporting the Product Innovation process by assessing manufacturing feasibility across the network.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Experience in Supply Chain / Planning, ideally within the FMCG sector and focused on manufacturing environments with a global scope.
  • Excellent planning and organisational capabilities, combined with a collaborative and accountable approach
  • Strong critical thinking skills for conducting in-depth evaluations and scenario planning, a solid understanding of Imperial Brands’ operations, and a dedication to service quality.
  • Strong communication skills, essential for representing the Global Planning team in collaboration with Factories, Markets, Brands, Product Realization, Engineering, and other Global Teams.
  • Hands-on experience with planning system platforms (e.g., SAP APO or equivalent), proficiency in MS Office, and confidence using data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
  • Fluency in English is essential; additional language skills are a plus.
