This location, combined with our benefits, provides a unique advantage for those looking to thrive in the semiconductor   Job Title: Senior Planner Department: Planning Job Overview:  The Senior Planner plans, schedules, and coordinates the efficient movement of material through the production cycle, creates and manages work orders and is responsible for materials data input and integrity to effectively manage delivery and inventory costs. Reports to Planning Manager. Located at the Unigen Headquarters in Newark, CA.  Job Responsibilities and Duties:  * Manage Project Material Requirements Planning (MRP).           * Load and create all demand into ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) * Align (and prioritize and allocate material to meet actual demand (customer build plan/forecast (FCST), Sales Order (SO) and Plan Order)  * Manage Project Master Production Scheduling (MPS) from Demand to Ship.  Maintain and plan work orders accordingly to meet OTD objectives. * Perform material What-if-Analysis (WIA) for demand loading.             * Coordinate the efficient movement of material through the production cycle. * Determine progress of work against the production schedule. * Provide information to Program Manager (PM), Supply Chain Management (SCM) & Buyer for constraint materials and/or manufacturing issues if any. * Coordinate & resolve material issues for work order (WO), Rework WO, pilot build, or qualification build. Maintain WO and SO aging to ensure proper MRP notifications. * Analyze and communicate demand schedule, material data & inventory status. * Monitor inventory levels to ensure they align with Unigen’s inventory turns goals. * Work to obtain cost reductions through optimizing production through a constant production flow, resource utilization as well as inventory utilization.  Other tasks and responsibilities related to Purchasing and Warehouse/Logistics function as assigned.   Job Requirements and Qualifications: * BS/BA degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or Industrial Engineering field. * Minimum 7 years of work experience in material planning and production scheduling in fast pace working environment like Contract Manufacturing (CM) or Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry. * Be able to work and coordinate with different departments and functional teams to achieve the customer’s required date. * Have in-depth understanding of how backend operation works from sourcing, purchasing, tracking PO, receiving, IQC, warehousing, kitting, SMT, and system integration to close the cycle of work order completion. * Be able to plan and schedule based on materials availability and work with MPS to schedule work order. Salary Range: $80K- $100K
