Roles & Responsibilities

Scope: Provide comprehensive facilities planning support covering all planning phases, including:

• Strategic & Master Planning: Develop and maintain AGOC’s facilities master plan; assess current and future infrastructure needs for both industrial and non-industrial facilities; align planning outputs with AGOC’s long-term business objectives and Saudi Aramco corporate planning frameworks.
• Provide input to AGOC (Finance & Planning) to prepare AGOC One (1) Year Operating Plan & five (5) Years Business Plans.
• Conceptual Planning & Feasibility: Lead preparation of conceptual scopes of work, feasibility studies, options studies, and preliminary cost estimates for new and existing facilities; assess site requirements, land use, and infrastructure constraints.
• Project Initiation & DBSP: Support development and review of Design Basis Scoping Papers (DBSPs) and project charters for facility projects; ensure alignment with approved master plans and AGOC strategic priorities.
• Engineering Coordination: Coordinate with engineering teams, KJO, and relevant stakeholders on facility-related project reviews, technical inputs, and design alignment across all engineering disciplines.
• Implementation Oversight: Monitor progress of facility projects during execution; review deliverables against approved plans; assess scope changes and their impact on the overall facilities plan; and provide recommendations to management.
• Closeout & Lessons Learned: Ensure facility project closeout documentation is aligned with the master plan; capture lessons learned and incorporate into future planning cycles; update the facilities master plan upon project completion.
• Support AGOC’s reporting obligations to Saudi Aramco on facilities planning matters and coordinate with KJO on facility-related KJO project reviews.

Minimum Experience: 10 years in engineering, with at least 5 years of direct experience in facilities planning within Saudi Aramco or any of its affiliates, with demonstrated knowledge of SAES, facilities planning procedures, and infrastructure development frameworks. In addition, the candidate should have the relevant certifications such as PMP and or Certified Facility Management (CFM) etc.
