Date Posted: 2026-01-26 Country: United Arab Emirates Location: Otis L.L.C, 37th floor, The One Tower, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai, United Arab Emirates Job Description Role Overview: As a Planning Engineer based in Dubai and reporting to the Gulf Planning Manager, you will be well-versed in construction project sequencing and proficient in utilizing Primavera planning tools. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining project schedules, coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure timely execution, analyzing project sequences for optimization. Additionally, you will play a key role in monitoring progress, identifying potential delays, and providing strategic recommendations to mitigate any schedule impacts, and submission of contractual letters to Contractor with Extension of time claim using Primavera Planning Tool. On a typical day you will: 1. Prepare the Baseline program with resource loaded in Primavera P6. (Oracle Primavera Cloud will be added advantage) 2. Assist project team to develop and maintain periodic status reports to keep management informed on project progress. 3. Maintain the Projects log on regular basis. 4.Prepare the resource forecast for the year and update regularly. 5.Interact with project team and project managers to understand scope of work and update detailed schedules, cost information and identification of variances from original plan. 6. Analyze critical path and constraints to determine effect of changes to schedule and recommend work-around. 7. Suggest management of risks affecting project schedules and interfaces. 8. Understand the Contract terms and issue the delay letters to Contractor accordingly. 9. Prepare and submit EOT claims. 10. Keep the records of the projects for program updates. 11. Any miscellaneous support to the Site team. What You Will Need to be Successful: Minimum 6-8 years of experience in construction planning for building projects Degree in Civil Engineering or related Engineering discipline Excellent written and oral communication skills in English Proficiency in Primavera (Oracle Primavera Cloud experience is an added advantage) and Microsoft Office applications Additional advantage: PMP / PMI-SP / CIOB certification Ability to multitask, work effectively in a team, self-motivated, and demonstrate long-term commitment If you live in a city, chances are we will give you a lift or play a role in keeping you moving every day.
