The Senior Planning Engineer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules across all phases. This role ensures timely project execution within budget by tracking progress, man-hours, and costs against established schedules. The Senior Planning Engineer will also define staffing requirements based on workload forecasts. Key Responsibilities Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera (mandatory). Monitor and report progress, man-hours, and costs against baseline schedules. Provide staffing forecasts and advise management on resource requirements. Assist Project Managers in preparing Project Management Plans and financial analyses. Prepare periodic progress reports for clients and internal management. Identify and communicate schedule variances, cost overruns, and recommend corrective actions. Advise on overtime requirements to meet critical milestones. Support proposal teams by developing schedules and pricing inputs. Education & Experience Requirements 8 - 10 years of experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering . Extensive experience in planning and scheduling within engineering design or consulting environments. Proficiency in Primavera (P6) and related planning tools. Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills. Experience in proposal pricing and resource planning. Ability to effectively communicate schedule requirements to project teams.
