ROLE SUMMARY

We’re hiring a Senior Planning Engineer to lead project planning, scheduling, and controls across major construction projects. The ideal candidate is a P6 power-user with strong EOT/delay analysis capability, excellent stakeholder management, and a track record of delivering resource-loaded, cost-aware schedules.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize baseline & updated schedules in Primavera P6 (resource/cost-loaded, WBS/CBS aligned).
  • Prepare S-curves, histograms, progress reports, and look-ahead plans; drive weekly planning meetings with Projects/Commercial/Procurement.
  • Perform critical path analysis (CPM), variance analysis, and scenario planning; recommend recovery/acceleration plans.
  • Lead EVM (PV/EV/AC), productivity tracking, and forecast time & cost to complete; interface with QS/Cost Control.
  • Coordinate with site teams to validate progress (% complete, installed quantities) and update logic, calendars, and constraints.
  • Manage claims & delay analysis (EOT submissions, cause–effect, time impact analysis, concurrency narratives).
  • Maintain risk register and mitigation plans; support method statements and construction sequencing.
  • Ensure planning deliverables meet client/consultant requirements (incl. ADNOC/PMC where applicable) and contract conditions.
  • Support tender planning: high-level programs, prelim resourcing, key milestones, and assumptions register.
