Title: Senior Planning Manager
Location: Peterborough (hybrid)
Salary: £95,000 + car allowance + package
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Planning Manager to spearhead the planning function for a leading main contractor on a long term, significant framework.
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a key leadership role, where you’ll manage a small, capable team of planners and work closely with operational, commercial, and client stakeholders to ensure programme certainty across a diverse range of technically challenging projects.
You’ll be responsible for the development, management, and control of project programmes using Primavera P6, ensuring they remain compliant with NEC contract requirements. From tender stage through to final delivery, you’ll oversee programme updates, reporting, risk management, and delay analysis, playing a pivotal role in driving performance and project outcomes.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need proven experience as a Senior or Lead Planning Engineer within a infrastructure environment. A strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 and the NEC form of contract is essential, alongside excellent communication and leadership skills.
