We are recruiting for a SENIOR PLANNING MANAGER – LINEAR ACTIVITIES with the following details :

Job Purpose

  • The Senior Planning Manager – Linear Activities is responsible for leading the planning and scheduling function for linear construction activities across the project.
  • The role oversees the development, integration, monitoring, and control of project programs to ensure construction activities are delivered in accordance with approved timelines, contractual requirements, project objectives, and available resources.
  • The position provides strategic planning leadership across multiple work fronts and interfaces, identifies schedule risks and potential delays, drives recovery measures, and ensures effective coordination between construction, engineering, procurement, commercial, subcontractors, and other project functions.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or another relevant engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 10–15 years of experience in project planning and controls, preferably within large-scale infrastructure, railway, transportation, civil engineering, or construction projects.
  • Proven experience in a senior planning or planning management position on major infrastructure or linear construction projects.
  • Strong experience in managing planning activities across multiple work fronts, packages, and project interfaces.
  • Proven expertise in Primavera P6 and advanced project scheduling techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM), resource-loaded scheduling, progress measurement, productivity analysis, and project controls.
  • Experience in delay analysis, EOT preparation, Time Impact Analysis (TIA), recovery planning, and schedule risk management.
  • Good understanding of FIDIC contracts and contractual planning requirements.
  • Experience managing and mentoring planning engineers and project control personnel.
  • Experience coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other project controls and reporting tools is an advantage.
