The project: The senior scheduler role is within the chief infrastructure office of a semi-state organisation in Ireland. The experienced scheduler must possess experience as a scheduler in a large capital project delivery environment with an understanding of building and managing schedules against baselines to effectively communicate the schedule to key stakeholders. It is expected that the candidate will be educated to degree level in a project management, engineering, or construction industry discipline. Strong analytical & IT skills, particularly Primavera, MS Project Online, Excel, MS Office Suite, including Power BI is desirable. You’ll be responsible for: Managing strategic delivery of key assignments aligned with programme objectives. Supporting planning performance and effective project scheduling. Maintaining integrated master schedules and project baselines. Managing WBS, scope, assumptions and change control. Directing planning workshops and monthly progress reviews. Assessing contractor schedules and report critical path insights. Providing clear schedule status, forecasts and “what‑if” scenarios. Aligning schedule, cost and risk, supporting QSRA and programme controls. You’ll need to have: 8+ years’ scheduling experience with Primavera P6 and MS Project on large offshore energy projects. Strong capability in WBS development, schedule control, QSRA and contractor schedule assessment. Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and reporting up to C‑suite. Professional membership with strong commercial, infrastructure and sustainability knowledge.
