QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related experience is required.
• Minimum 15 years of plant operation experience in either a batch or continuous environment.

• Oversee and assess existing processes and workflows.
• Optimize productivity by designing, implementing, and testing new procedures.
• Assemble reports to document process status and changes.
• Designs processes and equipment related to the development and commercialization of new products or services that are cost effective and within project budget.
• Oversees process design projects and ensure the efficient and safe functioning of all the processes related to product manufacturing.
• Develop innovative solutions, enhance systems, and implement improvements that increase efficiency and optimize all phases of service or production processes, from design to manufacturing.
• Conducts tests on systems for efficiency and accuracy until a quality and cost-effective production process is implemented successfully.
• Track, evaluate, and recommend changes or upgrades to equipment, work methods, or other aspects of the process to improve efficiency and utilization of resources, including labor, energy, and raw materials.
• Assess safety requirements and ensure that these are integrated into the process, maintaining reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs, and changeovers.
• Improve process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards.
• Collect production data and apply standard scientific and statistical methods to analyze, document, and diagram production processes.
• Identify process bottlenecks and devise solutions to resolve.
• Lead or participate in incident investigations and advise on corrective actions.
• Support small capital projects via a Direct project management role or via coordination of outside engineering/construction firm(s).
• Participate in PHAs as needed.
• Work with Operations to update SOPs as required.
