We are looking for a passionate and curious DataPower and API Connect Engineer, who finds motivation in finding ways to convert business requirements into design, while performing in both programming and documentation. If finding solutions to problems using an innovative approach resonates with you, then this might be the place for you.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Extensive experience with API Connect and DataPower.
- Strong knowledge of containerization technologies and best practices.
- Proficiency in using GitHub and implementing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions (alternatively Azure DevOps).
- Solid programming skills in Java, with a focus on building secure and efficient applications (alternatively Python).
- Experience with shell scripting for task automation.
- In-depth understanding of Linux operating systems and system administration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Previous experience in the financial services industry.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and agile methodologies.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust platform solutions using API Connect and DataPower.
- Implement and manage containerized applications to enhance system scalability and efficiency.
- Provide technical design inputs to the overall End to End solution and work closely on technical infrastructure design.
- Utilize GitHub and GitHub Actions to streamline development workflows and ensure seamless integration and deployment processes.
- Develop and maintain Java-based applications, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Create and manage shell scripts to automate routine tasks and improve system operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions that meet business needs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
