We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Platform Engineer / DevOps Engineer / IT Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and reliable infrastructure that powers our core systems. You will have the opportunity to work on complex challenges, ensuring system resilience, optimizing performance, and collaborating closely with development teams to improve deployment processes.
You will also mentor and support junior engineers, helping them to grow and succeed within the team. This is a hands-on technical role where your expertise in automation, system reliability, and DevOps best practices will be critical to our success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Build: Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize system performance, availability, and capacity.
• Automation: Develop and maintain automated monitoring and alerting systems to ensure proactive issue resolution.
• Incident Response: Participate in troubleshooting and resolving incidents to minimize downtime and improve system resilience.
• DevOps Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to improve software delivery and deployment processes using DevOps best practices.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers to support their professional growth.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 4+ years in a Site Reliability, DevOps, or similar engineering role.
• Technical Skills:
• Expertise in Kubernetes, including managing clusters, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing workloads in production environments.
• Strong proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker, with a focus on Kubernetes integration and orchestration.
• Solid experience with scripting and programming (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK Stack, with a focus on Kubernetes observability.

Capabilities:

• Ability to design and build resilient systems that can withstand stress and prevent future failures.
• Expertise in reducing downtime and developing strategies to eliminate unscheduled disruptions.
• Experience in chaos engineering to proactively identify system vulnerabilities.
