Senior Platform Engineer (Cloud/K8s)

**You will be required to work onsite in Galway office, 1 week out of every month (consecutive days)**

The OpportunityWe are scaling our cloud infrastructure to power a high-stakes, enterprise-grade contact centre for a major global client. We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer who isn't afraid of complex Linux systems and wants to master the intersection of cloud-native tooling and real-time communications.

You won't just be maintaining servers. You will be designing resilient Kubernetes clusters, improving observability, and automating deployments while working within VoIP/SIP and telephony environments.

• What You’ll Be DoingArchitecting and maintaining resilient Linux-based systems in a 24/7 high-availability production environment.
• Scaling and managing Kubernetes (K8s) and Docker containerisation.
• Driving automation across CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure tooling (GitOps approach).
• Collaborating in agile sprints to troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance.
• Gaining hands-on exposure to complex routing strategies within contact centre tooling (SIP/VoIP).

• What You Bring to the Table5+ years in Platform, Cloud, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Deep proficiency in Linux system administration and debugging.
• Strong production experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Commercial experience with public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Scripting capabilities in Python or Bash.
• A solid understanding of monitoring/observability frameworks.
• Experience supporting enterprise or regulated environments (change control, security).

• Nice to haves:Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Git).
• Any exposure to telephony, SIP
