An exciting opportunity for a Senior Platform Engineer with expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our Cloud Operations team. In this role, you’ll make a significant impact across the entire organisation by optimising our cloud infrastructure to reduce costs, implementing best practices to enhance security, and supporting development teams to streamline processes and boost cloud adoption. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. This position requires a strong understanding of cloud technologies, automation, and best practices for infrastructure as code.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in platform engineering or cloud infrastructure management.
• Strong experience with AWS or GCP services, including compute, storage, networking, and security.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, teamCity, GitLab CI).
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
