About Platform Engineering Department The Platform Engineering Department is a multinational team of experienced DevOps and Development experts. About The Role As a Senior Platform Engineer / DevSecOps at Seven Peaks, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing our cloud-based platform framework and CI/CD processes. You will be instrumental in serving our diverse clients by building cutting-edge cloud solutions while also driving the development of internal practices, frameworks, and accelerators to ensure best-in-class service and efficiency. We are seeking a proactive and highly skilled individual with a consultancy mindset who can not only build but also lead the implementation of state-of-the-art DevOps solutions and best practices. You will empower our engineering teams and clients by delivering robust, automated, and secure infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions, ensuring rapid project delivery and continuous improvement. This role demands a strong passion for engineering excellence and the ability to independently identify problems and develop innovative solutions with minimal oversight. This is an individual contributor role with no direct people management responsibilities. Responsibilities Design, implement, and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based infrastructure, collaborating closely with engineering, development, and QA teams. Drive the adoption of DevSecOps best practices, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) across all aspects of platform delivery for client projects and internal frameworks. Proactively identify opportunities for platform improvements, automation, and cost optimization within cloud hosting environments. Manage and automate the creation, scaling, and deletion of project environments efficiently, meeting diverse stakeholder needs. Set up and manage comprehensive Observability solutions (monitoring, logging, tracing) and policies for client-deployed projects to ensure operational excellence. Define and implement SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) practices and Maintenance & Support processes and tools to ensure high availability and performance. Ensure ownership and responsibility over internal and managed systems, including code quality, security testing integrations, and associated processes. Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams, fostering a culture of DevSecOps and platform excellence. Actively contribute to defining, documenting, and standardizing platform engineering processes, best practices, and architectural guidelines. Qualifications BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject. Good command of Thai and English, both written and spoken. Minimum of 5+ years of solid development experience, ideally with 3+ years of dedicated DevOps experience. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps Services, AWS CodeBuild/CodeDeploy, Jenkins, or similar, with demonstrable experience automating pipelines. Good knowledge of Cloud Solutions (AWS and/or Azure), including services like EC2 ASG/VMSS, EKS/AKS, security, IAM, networking, managed databases, and monitoring solutions. Proven experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code. Ability to independently set up and work with local environments using cloud and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, AWS CLI, Azure CLI). Familiarity with GitHub/BitBucket, Jira, Git, Code Review processes, code quality and security scanning solutions, and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Demonstrable experience working with multiple integrated platforms and technologies (e.g., microservices, middleware, APIs). Good knowledge of scripting languages, i.e. Bash, Python, etc. Having experience with complex API Management solutions setup is a plus. Having active cloud certifications is a plus.
