Our client, a growing B2B SaaS company in Berlin, is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to help build and evolve the shared cloud platform used by multiple product engineering teams.
You'll work across Kubernetes, AWS, infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and developer tooling, helping create a platform that gives engineers a reliable and consistent way to build, deploy, and operate their services.
What You'll Work On• Build and evolve shared platform infrastructure on AWS and Kubernetes• Design scalable, reliable environments for multiple product engineering teams• Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform• Develop platform tooling and automation in Go and/or Python• Build and improve CI/CD and GitOps workflows• Automate infrastructure provisioning and environment management• Improve Kubernetes reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency• Create reusable platform components and engineering standards• Improve observability across cloud infrastructure and services• Reduce manual operational work through automation and self-service tooling• Support engineering teams with deployment, infrastructure, and production challenges• Help shape the technical direction and architecture of the platform as the company scales
Core Skills• 5+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, Cloud Infrastructure, or a similar role• Kubernetes• AWS• Terraform• Go and/or Python• GitOps• CI/CD• Linux and cloud-native infrastructure• Strong understanding of distributed production environments
