Job Description Our EMEA OS client is seeking a dynamic and experienced PMO to oversee the governance, planning, and delivery of construction and workplace transformation projects across the UK & Ireland. This role will ensure strategic alignment, risk management, and operational excellence across a diverse portfolio of real estate initiatives. This role reports into a client Programme Manager, based in London. Key Responsibilities PMO skills: Deliver a UK PMO function for construction and workplace projects. Portfolio Oversight: Monitor project performance, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation across multiple sites. Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to client’s internal controls, Building Safety Act requirements, and local regulations. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal teams, external contractors, consultants, and regulatory bodies. Reporting & Insights: Deliver executive-level dashboards, risk assessments, and progress reports. Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in project delivery methodologies and tools. Change Management: Support transition planning and communication for impacted business units. Qualifications Skills & Experience Proven experience in PMO leadership within construction and real estate environments. Strong understanding of UK building regulations, including the Building Safety Act 2022. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Power BI). Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience working in large, matrixed organisations, ideally professional services or corporate environments. Qualifications Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or related field. PMI, PRINCE2, or APM certification preferred. Knowledge of RIBA stages, CDM regulations, and sustainability standards is a plus.
