Our focus is on promoting and monitoring compliance with applicable external laws and regulations as well as internal policies and procedures. This helps manage PwC’s regulatory, litigation, and reputational risk.
Accountability Framework -The One Firm Accountability Framework, and related process covers services and relationships independence matters. It identifies specific actions or behaviors that are expected of each partner and staff member to maintain compliance with independence policies and regulatory requirements. The Independence Accountability Team (accountability team) within OFRO’s Quality Risk & Monitoring (QR&M) function evaluates and assesses services and relationship matters of the framework, and the related sanctioning process.
Independence In-Flight Review (IIFR) -The objective of an OFRO Independence In-Flight Review (IIFR) is to provide independence support to engagement teams throughout execution of the engagement enabling engagement teams to perform non-audit services engagements in compliance with applicable SEC requirements and in accordance with AFS approved engagement letters. The process is designed to further reduce execution risk for teams providing non-audit services to SEC Issuer Audit Clients.

As a part of the Accountability and IIFR team your tasks include but are not limited to :

  • Preparing and managing matters through the Accountability Framework/IIFR programs, assisting with all aspects of the Accountability committee meeting/IIFR workflow tasks
  • Scheduling meetings, coordinate tasks and schedules across multiple teams and stakeholders and help to maintain and update multiple trackers
  • Assist with all reporting requirements utilizing tools such as Alteryx and Power BI for reporting findings to leadership
  • Working with the tech team on developing and deploying system enhancements including communicating desired enhancements with developers, manage any system bugs, open tickets and work with tech team to resolve
  • Collaborating with colleagues within the AFS review team and the broader One Firm Risk Organization (OFRO) Independence/Risk Management (RM) team
