About the positions We are seeking Senior PMIS Solutions Architects to lead the strategy, design, and delivery of advanced Project Management Information Systems (PMIS) for large-scale, heavy-civil infrastructure programs across highways, roads and bridges, transit (bus and rail), aviation (international airports), and/or water sectors. These roles are highly client-facing and solution-oriented, responsible for defining system architecture and integration strategy, leading development teams, and serving as a trusted technical advisor to clients and program leadership. The Senior PMIS Solutions Architects drive innovation through modern PMIS platforms and AI-enabled technologies, taking a holistic approach to ensure seamless connectivity between PMIS, enterprise systems, and project controls processes. This post targets the Phoenix, AZ region. The work arrangement can be remote; however, there will be some onsite and travel requirements. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following: Define and lead PMIS architecture strategy and design for complex, large-scale infrastructure programs. Accountable for aligning PMIS architecture with program delivery requirements across multiple contracts, stakeholders, and project controls systems within complex, multi-contract program environments. Serve as the primary technical advisor to clients and program leadership, ensuring alignment between PMIS solutions and business objectives. Lead and mentor development teams, providing technical direction and oversight for the delivery of scalable, secure, and innovative PMIS solutions. Develop and drive integration strategies across PMIS, ERP systems, scheduling platforms (e.g., Primavera P6), financial systems, and document management platforms. Drive alignment between PMIS architecture and project controls data structures (e.g., WBS, CBS), ensuring integration of cost, schedule, and financial data across systems. Establish and enforce standards for system configuration, data governance, and security compliance across the program. Ensure interoperability, data consistency, and alignment across all integrated systems. Translate complex business and project controls requirements into architecture frameworks, system designs, and scalable technical solutions. Leverage AI-enabled technologies to enhance PMIS capabilities, including predictive analytics, automated workflows, and intelligent reporting. Identify and evaluate opportunities for machine learning, natural language processing, and data-driven insights to improve project delivery. Conduct client workshops, solution demonstrations, and executive-level presentations for stakeholders. Drive adoption of best practices supporting project controls functions, including cost management, scheduling, and risk mitigation. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field or equivalent combination of education/experience. 15+ years of experience in PMIS architecture, design, and implementation for large-scale, heavy-civil infrastructure programs (e.g., highways, roads and bridges, transit (bus and rail), aviation (international airports), and/or water sectors), including complex, multi-contract delivery environments. Proven experience in client-facing roles, serving as a technical advisor and leading technical or development teams. Strong understanding of project controls processes and enterprise system integration across cost, schedule, and financial systems. Experience defining solution architecture, workflow design, and integration strategy for PMIS platforms. Experience leading integration of PMIS with scheduling systems (e.g., Primavera P6), ERP platforms, financial systems, and document management systems. Experience aligning PMIS architecture with project controls frameworks, including integration of cost, schedule, and financial data. Familiarity with AI-enabled technologies and their application within PMIS or project delivery environments. Advanced knowledge of PMIS platforms such as Oracle Primavera Unifier, Kahua, and Procore. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite/Office 365 (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.). Preferred Qualifications Experience working within government or public-sector infrastructure programs, including familiarity with procurement and compliance frameworks. Experience supporting multi-contract, program-level delivery environments exceeding $500M in value. Experience configuring or administering enterprise PMIS platforms (e.g., Unifier uDesigner, Kahua configuration, or similar). Compensation Details Expected Salary: $160k-$200k/year ($76-$96/hour).
