1. Undertake legislative and policy analysis to support the development and reform of education legislation, including
   drafting instructions, regulatory impact assessments and cabinet submissions.
2. Contribute to the design and implementation of legislative frameworks that underpin strategic policy initiatives to drive
   the department’s improvement agenda and ensure accountability to the public.
3. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver education policy
   and legislative reform across the Territory.
4. Support governance, monitoring and reporting functions related to legislative projects and ensure alignment with broader
   departmental strategies.
