Responsibilities

Our senior policy analysts get to lead policy advice processes supported by principals and managers. As a senior policy analyst in the Department, you will conduct thorough research, perform detailed analyses, and actively engage with stakeholders to prepare evidence-based advice for ministers and senior leaders in the public service. You will share your knowledge with more junior team members by mentoring and supporting policy analysts to produce quality work. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to enhance your skills and make a meaningful impact on New Zealand’s policy landscape.
