Overview Element has an opportunity for a Senior Test Technician to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team, the Senior Test Technician position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under minimal direct supervision. The technician positions must be proficient in a number of core business skills including but not limited to compliance to established safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies and procedures. This is what sets us (and you, if you join us…) apart from the crowd. **Recent graduates welcomed to apply** Salary: $25/hr-$32/hr DOE **Position located in customer laboratory with testing applications mostly, but not limited to, packaging materials** Responsibilities Preferred knowledge in DSC, DMA, TGA, Melt Flow, Environmental Stress Cracking (ESCR), Mechanical Test Strength (MTS) Materials or Polymer Engineering Degree preferred. Recent graduates welcomed to apply. Skills / Qualifications Other Skills and Abilities: • Possesses the ability to perform lower to intermediate complex testing.• Ability to work alone the majority of the workday; only requiring assistance for clarification or confirmation of test procedures.• Effectively manages time and practices accountability for the testing to be performed.• Ability to take testing projects from start to finish, completing each step properly.• Ability to hold team members and peer technicians accountable for the testing requirements.• Advanced ability to read and understand customer specifications and perform the testing required in accordance with customer specifications.• Ability to construct and maintain test fixtures and other laboratory equipment to ensure proper working order based on client needs.• Ability to maintain and repair equipment.• Ensures timely and accurate results with little supervision and technical input.• Occasional lifting of 25-50 lbs. is required Diversity Statement At Element, we always take pride in putting our people first.
