Responsibilities:
YOUR KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
- Take responsibility for technical project delivery as discipline lead/design manager
- Drive the development and innovation of our structural skill set as a team effort
- Manage marine projects
- Grow and maintain excellent client relations
- Ensure the highest level of quality in our deliverables
- Promote our capabilities in the market
- Co-create closely with clients and stakeholders, focusing on value creation
- Act as a role model for our younger team members
From the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development as you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point includes:
- A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or similar)
- Preferably 10+ years of proven experience in the design of marine structures, such as quays, jetties, berthing structures, pile decks, caissons, block walls, dolphins, etc.
- Knowledge of port equipment, mooring systems, and navigation
- Extensive knowledge of relevant design codes and design methodologies
- Experience with complex multidisciplinary marine projects, such as ports, flood defenses, artificial islands, or immersed tunnels
- Excellent communication skills—professional-level English is required; Danish is highly appreciated, and any additional language skills are a plus
- Comfort in a dynamic work environment with multiple stakeholders
- A strong commitment to sustainability and an active interest in exploring and applying green solution
