Who we are looking for
The Shareholder Services Team, as a part of Investment Operations unit, administers
incoming client instructions relating to subscription and redemption activity for
portfolios managed globally by SSGA. The team is responsible for the verification,
accurate, timely processing and onward communication of these instructions to the SSGA
Investment Management team.
The Shareholder Services team within SSGA Europe Limited is an extension to the SSGA
Shareholder Services team globally (London, Dublin, Sydney, Boston). The successful
candidate will act as a senior member within the team, assuming responsibility on variety
of business processes.
This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

What you will be responsible for

As Senior Portfolio Admin Associate you will be responsible for:

  • Acting as a Subject Matter Expert for processes managed by the Shareholder Services
  • team
  • Oversight of daily processes and controls, coupled with completing tasks assigned in a
  • timely manner
  • Preparation of weekly task allocation, identification of process gaps and training needs
  • Taking responsibility and acting as a lead on various internal projects
  • Providing accurate and timely operational investment support to internal and external
  • stakeholders
  • Managing operational risk, regular review and identifying further opportunities for risk
  • mitigation. Ensuring all functional procedures are kept up to date.
  • Supporting a culture of effective challenge to evolve daily operational processes,
  • recommending and implementing changes and delivering continuous
  • improvement. Being open to feedback.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • including other business lines and corporate functions.
  • Maintaining the highest standards of conduct and integrity within the business and
  • ensuring compliance with industry practice, company policies, statute and regulatory
  • requirements in all matters.
  • Attending internal and external meetings as required

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree qualified (or equivalent) with a financial or analytical discipline preferred.
  • Advanced Excel knowledge
  • VBA/Macro coding skills are a plus
  • 5+ years robust industry experience within fund industry.
  • Proven experience in Investment Operations, Transfer Agency, Middle Office or Fund
  • Accounting functions is desirable.
