The GCS PMO and Governance Team are responsible for provision of PMO services which enable and deliver Group Corporate Services projects/programs/portfolios as well as Supplier Governance over CBA’s top tiered suppliers.

WE’RE INTERESTED IN HEARING FROM PEOPLE WHO POSSESS EXPERIENCE IN:

  • Supporting and delivering the Risk and Governance strategy
  • Supplier Governance
  • Supporting project teams to deliver agreed objectives
  • Understanding of Project Management Methodologies
  • Minimum 5 year in a Project or supplier support role
  • Project management qualification (desirable)
  • Supplier management qualifications (desirable)
  • High attention to detail and thoroughness
  • High level of proactiveness and ability to work independently to drive outcomes
  • High level of self-awareness and body language
  • Ability to ask the right questions and drive discussion and outcomes
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and problem solving skills
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management

Responsibilities
  • Taking ownership of the execution of the governance processes and frameworks
  • Supporting internal and external stakeholders
  • Identifying, managing, resolving/escalating project gaps utilising risk management methodologies
  • Developing and tracking project milestones and work with project leads to deliver to agreed timings
  • Identifying, initiating and driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Draft outcomes of meetings and producing any necessary reporting
  • Preparation of meeting collateral (pre and post meeting)
  • Actively managing risks/issues and escalations
  • Adhering to the Supplier Management Framewor
