We’re looking for a Senior Portfolio Manager - Property to help us grow and manage a property platform that is targeted to exceed £4bn over the medium term. This is your opportunity to influence strategy, drive performance, and deliver sustainable long-term value across UK and global real estate markets.
As part of our Private Markets team, you’ll be central to building a high-performing and responsible property portfolio at scale-covering indirect funds, joint ventures, co-investments, and development projects. You’ll have a visible and influential role: engaging with Partner Funds, negotiating with external managers, and embedding ESG and climate considerations into every decision.

LGPS Central (LGPSC) Ltd is the FCA-regulated asset manager for eight local authority pension funds across the Midlands. LGPSC is jointly owned on an equal shares basis by those Partner Fund, and it is responsible for managing £45bn+ of their assets. It is one of eight Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) asset pools in the UK.

• Strategic thinker with the ability to influence portfolio direction and broader strategy.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, engaging credibly with boards, trustees, senior partners, and external fund managers.
• Demonstrated leadership capability, with experience mentoring colleagues and building collaborative team cultures.

ANALYTICAL & COMMUNICATION SKILLS

• Strong financial analysis and due diligence capability, with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to present complex investment concepts to varied audiences.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree - Required
• CFA - Preferred
• RICS Qualification - Preferred
• Has or can meet all the requirements of being an FCA approved person
