Senior Portfolio Performance Advisor Grade: 9/10 Salary range: $129,464 - $142,665 + superannuation and leave loading Duration: Ongoing Location: Hybrid with an in-office requirement on Mondays and Wednesdays across NSW offices. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Portfolio Performance Advisor to join the NSW Telco Authority, part of the Department of Customer Service. About the team This position sits within the Portfolio Delivery Office team in the NSW Telco Authority. This role is focused on supporting governance for a large portfolio of work (approximately 40 telecommunications related projects, valued at approximately $50 million). Your responsibilities will include Prepare comprehensive reports and governance packs, ensuring clear communication of decisions and key outcomes across programs of work Foster and sustain productive working relationships, advising project teams on best practice methodologies to support successful delivery Design, implement, and maintain effective tools to track, assess, and report on project progress and outcomes Analyse and interpret complex data to identify trends and generate actionable insights, presenting findings to stakeholders to support informed decision-making Conduct research to identify opportunities for process improvement and adoption of best practices, actively contributing to enhanced project governance and organisational performance For more information on the role and its accountabilities, click here to view the role description. To be successful in this role you will Drive Governance Excellence: You thrive on applying robust portfolio governance frameworks and best practice methodologies to ensure strategic alignment and informed decision-making Master Data Insights: You excel at interpreting complex portfolio data, identifying trends, and presenting actionable insights that influence executive-level decisions Communicate with Impact: You confidently engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, translating complex portfolio and program concepts into clear, practical recommendations Champion Continuous Improvement: You have a passion for optimising processes, uplifting data quality, and driving enhancements that improve portfolio performance and organisational outcomes Shape Strategic Delivery: You bring advanced knowledge of MoP®, P3O®, PRINCE2® or similar frameworks, turning intricate governance requirements into practical solutions that support successful delivery The successful candidates will have experience working within a PDO, with strong governance and portfolio management abilities. About NSW Telco Authority NSW Telco Authority (NSWTA) operates and manages the Public Safety Network to deliver radio communications for frontline responders. We work with emergency services and telecommunications carriers to protect communications assets during emergencies and natural disasters. NSWTA is a delivery agency with responsibility for over $1.5 billion in key NSW Government projects that connect communities and support emergency services.
