JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PostgreSQL Developer to join our team in Norco, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing PostgreSQL databases to support mission-critical applications. You will work closely with engineers and stakeholders to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability across our systems.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with PostgreSQL development and administration
- Strong knowledge of schema design, indexing, and query optimization
- Experience with replication, partitioning, and clustering strategies
- Proficiency in performance tuning and troubleshooting database bottlenecks
- Solid experience with Linux environments and scripting (Bash, Python, or similar)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team
- Secret Security Clearance Required
- U.S. Citizenship Required
- If applicable: If you are or have been recently employed by the U.S. government, a post-employment ethics letter will be required if employment with VSolvit is offered
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with other databases (Oracle, MySQL, etc.)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools
- Knowledge of data modeling and ETL processes
