LOCATION: ARLINGTON, VA

We are currently seeking a Senior Power BI Developer with experience in SharePoint Development and Administration to join our team. As the ideal candidate, you will need to be skilled in creating data visualizations with various backend data sources, designing data models, and writing complex queries. Additionally, you will need to be proficient in designing SharePoint spoke and hub sites using SharePoint lists and metadata. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS ARE:

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 14 years’ of relevant experience. An additional 4 years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree/education.
  • Either possess and maintain, or obtain, prior to start date ONE of the following certifications:
  • CISSP, Security+, Net+, A+, MCP, MCSE, CCNA, MCSA.
  • Power BI Skills:
  • Proficiency in designing and building data models that accurately represent business needs and facilitate efficient analysis.
  • Proficiency in building interactive and dynamic dashboards and reports to present data insights and enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience with Power BI integration with Dataverse and SharePoint.
  • Experience utilizing DAX to create custom calculations, measures, and filters within Power BI models.
  • Ability to optimize Power BI performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Experience connecting Power BI to various data sources, including databases, Excel files, and cloud services.
  • Familiarity migrating dashboards using deployment pipelines
  • SharePoint Skills:
  • Experience in creating and managing hub and spoke sites.
  • Proficiency in managing SharePoint metadata and permissions.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint Online, Teams and SharePoint Server
  • Ability to design and implement SharePoint workflows and custom solutions.
  • Experience with SharePoint Designer and workflows development.
  • Microsoft 365 Skills:
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 apps and services such as Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform (Power BI, PowerApps, Power Automate).
  • Experience with Azure Active Directory, Azure DevOps, and Azure integration with Microsoft 365.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Active Secret security clearance.
  • The ability to obtain a final Top Secret security clearance.

Peraton is looking for a Senior Power BI Developer to become part of Peraton’s Federal Strategic Cyber Group.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and performance.
  • Integrate Power BI with Dataverse and SharePoint to create comprehensive data solutions.
  • Write and optimize complex DAX queries for advanced data analysis.
  • Design, create, and manage SharePoint hub and spoke sites.
  • Manage SharePoint metadata and permissions to ensure proper access and organization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed.
  • Lead SharePoint migration projects, including planning, execution, and post-migration support.
  • Develop and implement customized SharePoint-based configurations using best practices.
  • Create and manage workflows to improve process efficiency and guide business teams on best practices.
