Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Report Developer with proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining dynamic, enterprise-grade dashboards and automated reporting pipelines. This role is critical to empowering business leaders and stakeholders with timely, actionable insights derived from highly complex data environments. As part of a large-scale organization with diverse business units and intricate data ecosystems, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams—data engineers, business analysts, and IT stakeholders—to deliver scalable, automated BI solutions that support data-driven decision-making at every level. Responsibilities Dashboard Development: Design and develop highly interactive, visually compelling Power BI dashboards tailored to business needs, with a focus on performance optimization and usability. Data Integration: Design and implement robust ETL/ELT pipelines that support automated data refreshes across large and complex data sources. Automation: Implement automated data workflows and refresh schedules to ensure dashboards remain up-to-date and reliable. Performance Optimization: Troubleshoot performance issues, optimize DAX queries, and refine data models for maximum efficiency at scale. Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and provide clear documentation and training where necessary. Governance & Standards: Enforce best practices in data governance, modeling, and visualization to maintain consistency and accuracy across reports. Innovation: Stay current with Power BI and data analytics advancements, proactively recommending improvements and new capabilities. Requirements Experience: 7+ years of hands-on Power BI development experience in a large-scale enterprise environment. Proven track record of creating dynamic, complex dashboards and automated reporting solutions. Extensive experience building data models, DAX queries, and advanced Power BI features (row-level security, drill-throughs, bookmarks, etc.). Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of SQL and relational database systems. Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP). Experience with ETL/ELT tools and building automated data pipelines. Understanding of data warehousing concepts and enterprise BI architecture. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical mindset. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to translate complex technical insights into clear business value. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
