Job Description
Role purpose
Clients are rapidly exploring AI-assisted experiences and automation. You’ll prototype and iterate multiple proofs of concept (POCs) using Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Platform with the right ALM, testing and governance in place. You’ll guide developers day‑to‑day, liaise with product owners, and keep delivery moving — all while staying deep in the code/config.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, build and iterate POCs with Copilot Studio and Power Platform (topics, orchestration, connectors, prompts, security), validate value quickly with stakeholders, and progress winning POCs towards production‑ready solutions.
  • Have in depth understanding of SharePoint / M365 (lists, libraries, site structure, permissions) and to guide use case development.
  • Own technical quality in a light‑touch lead capacity: set standards, perform code/solution reviews, mentor developers, and unblock delivery — without heavy line management overhead.
  • Apply ALM and DevOps for the Power Platform (environments, pipelines, solution packaging, deployment, and versioning).
  • Implement testing strategies and non‑functional requirements (performance, security, accessibility).
  • Integrate with APIs/third‑party services; contribute to patterns for secure connector usage and custom connector development.
  • Work in Agile client teams, partnering with Product Owners to refine requirements and sequence work.
  • Document and knowledge‑transfer: produce pragmatic documentation and handover materials for client teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Hands‑on expertise with Power Platform: significant experience (generally ~5+ years) delivering solutions with Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Copilot Studio experience building copilots (topics, generative answers, actions), connecting to data and services, and applying responsible AI & security controls.
  • SharePoint configuration proficiency (lists, content types, permissions, governance) and integration with Power Platform.
  • ALM & DevOps: environment strategy, solution layering, pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps) for CI/CD, and backlog/work tracking.
  • Testing mindset with tools and approaches suited to Power Platform solutions
  • Understanding and application of non‑functional requirements (performance, security, resilience, accessibility).
  • Agile delivery & stakeholder skills: clear communication, requirement refinement, and pragmatic decision‑making in client squads.
