HARD SKILLS:

  • Build and lead the pricing tools for all BESS and Power Balancing Service deals.
  • Able to valuate commercial terms for ST to LT PPA and VPPA risks
  • Oversight all quant development for flex asset modelling and pricing tools for APAC region
  • Coordinating and implementing trading strategy and portfolio onboarding with local regional originator
  • Initiate Asset Portfolio trading strategies and coordinate with local ST power trader and schedule for strategy implementation.
  • Able to spot new market development and constantly add new findings to improve pricing models and trades implementation.
  • Coding skill and handling quantitative analysis are must-have.
  • Able to study new markets and collaborate with originators on LT deal valuation for BESS, RES and other power asset structures.
  • Lead the development of bespoke deals and revisit as well as improve pricing and analysis for origination desk.
  • Lead and Explore new structure products in APAC power markets, be the expertise centre.

SOFT SKILLS:

  • Quantitative analysis skills, preferably with the experience in Energy Commodity markets.
  • An effective team player and passionate about Energy Markets.
  • Innovative and strong initiative to work independently under minimal supervision, a true self starter
  • Strong Mathematical capability, attention to detail and problem solver.

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND:

  • University Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or Engineering highly preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years gas trading, with track record as a existing gas option book on individual basis.
Responsibilities

As a Senior Power Structuring Trader, you will report to the Head of APAC Portfolio and Structuring. The role is a permanent post to be based in Singapore. You will contribute to the fulfillment of the missions APAC Power and Gas team requiring collaboration with Engie’s GMA team, commercial functions and all support function staff.
