A place to make a difference: In these 2 x permanent part-time (68.4 hours per fortnight / 9 day fortnight) positions, you’ll work within our Domestic and Family Violence Refuge Program, playing a key role in supporting and implementing our practice framework within the refuge environment. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be based in Brisbane in our crisis accommodation program working within a rotational roster Monday – Sunday between 8am & 8pm. You will make a difference by: * Supporting the Team Leader to implement our Child Centred Trauma Informed Practice Framework in a DFV Refuge environment * Providing coaching and mentoring to the team of DFV and Child Specialist practitioners * Supporting and strengthening informal and formal external networks with likeminded organisations and professionals * Providing crisis DFV support to women and children within the specialised model of the service A place to feel valued: Your deep expertise in the Domestic and Family Violence sector and in working with children and young people is invaluable. This role requires: * Qualifications in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology or related field, or significant relevant experience. * Demonstrating your highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, coach and develop a team, as well as work effectively in a team. * Your ability to utilize your skills, knowledge, understanding, and experience working with families that are living with trauma to influence and guide practitioners to ensure safe and ethical practice. * Proven experience in applying a trauma informed and strength-based approach with a focus on service user advocacy and network engagement * Highly developed verbal and written communication skills A place to belong: At 54 reasons, we invest in the development and wellbeing of our people.
