Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Early Years Practitioner, you’ll support the delivery of high-quality early education and care, while playing an active role in leading and mentoring our team. You’ll help create a calm, stimulating, and inspiring environment where every child can thrive.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Create a safe, secure, and nurturing environment that promotes children’s well-being
  • Observe, assess, and record children’s development through accurate learning journeys
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Actively contribute to the day-to-day running of the room and the wider nursery
  • Uphold safeguarding, health & safety, and all relevant policies and procedures
  • Support and mentor junior team members, leading by example
  • Contribute to the planning and development of our exciting transition to a new site in 2026
