Description Senior Preconstruction Manager Dallas, TX | On-Site | Full-Time Rudick Construction Group is seeking an experienced Senior Preconstruction Manager to lead the planning, estimating, and budgeting efforts for complex construction projects. This role is critical to our success and offers the opportunity to work on high-impact commercial, industrial, and manufacturing projects within a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. About the Role As a Senior Preconstruction Manager, you will oversee all preconstruction activities from conceptual budgeting through final GMP development. You will collaborate closely with clients, architects, engineers, and internal project teams to ensure accurate cost modeling, effective value engineering, and seamless transition into construction. Key Responsibilities Review project plans, specifications, and design documents to develop detailed cost estimates Lead cost estimation,budgeting, bid leveling, and value engineering efforts Develop and manage preconstruction schedules and risk assessments Coordinate with design teams in design-build and design-assist environments Prepare and present estimates, budgets, and value options to clients and stakeholders Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors Partner with project teams to align scope, budget, and schedule prior to construction Utilize industry-leading software tools to manage estimating and preconstruction workflows Provide leadership, mentorship, and strategic direction to preconstruction team members Working Conditions Full-time, Monday–Friday 8-hour shift, in-person. Location: Dallas Texas This position is also open across multiple offices, Louisiana, Houston, and Dallas. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field 10+ years of construction experience with 5+ years in preconstruction Strong expertise in: Cost estimating, budgeting, bid leveling, and value engineering Project planning, scheduling, coordination, and risk management Experience with commercial, industrial, or manufacturing projects (highly preferred) Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation abilities Excellent communication skills and client-facing experience Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards Proficiency in construction software including: Destini Estimator Procore OST Bluebeam Building Connected Pipeline Suite
