ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or similar required.
  • 5 years’ experience working within the Professional Services field, in roles requiring intricate financial analysis. Pricing experience preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, Excel in particular.
  • Working knowledge of Legal Industry accounting systems. 3E is a plus.
  • Effective communicator both internally and externally with clients.
  • Strong technical aptitude and understanding, including ability to quickly learn new applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests, assess priorities, and achieve solutions under deadlines.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent proofreading skills.
  • Talent for creating client satisfaction; demonstrated ability to focus on the client value in all work.
  • Ability to take an assignment from inception to completion with minimal supervision or by following broad guidelines.
  • Ability to apply effective independent judgment; ability to perceive and analyze problems and to develop responsive solutions.

Responsibilities

The Senior Pricing Analyst supports partners in providing financial analysis on key client accounts and high value portfolios. This individual provides coaching and guidance to partners, business professionals and Client Account Managers “CAMs” regarding effective pricing solutions that balance client needs and the firms profitability.

  • Develops pricing solutions for partners through modeling of rates and discounts, realization, direct margin and leverage assumptions
  • Support annual deal process through the review of client agreements, negotiation with partners and clients, updating the deals database and coordination with billing and collections.
  • Develop AFA’s based on profiling or proper scope definition from Partners. Recommend matter structures to improve tracking and reporting of performance.
  • Communicate to Partners, CAM’s and Leadership on matters that are at risk and require action such as re-negotiation or better leverage models.
  • Conducting post-engagement analysis by utilizing historical financial data and decision insights to assist in pricing future engagements focused on improving financial performance
  • Support the Pricing team in the development of best practices, tools and process improvement.
