We are looking for an experienced Senior Pricing & Packaging Specialist to help shape and implement SafetyCulture’s commercial model and global monetisation strategy and help propel us towards $500M ARR.
Reporting into our Strategic Projects & Commercial Operations Team in Sydney, you will collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Revenue Operations, Finance and Engineering to develop strategic, enterprise-focused pricing models, optimise customer billing experiences globally and rethink how existing SaaS pricing models will change with the rise of AI.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE



    • Experience: 5 - 7 years total professional experience, with at least 2 years specifically in pricing and packaging roles within SaaS.

    • Pricing Expertise: Proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing SaaS pricing models, particularly for enterprise sales.
    • Analytical Skills: Financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis abilities; proficient in Excel.
    • Market Research: Skilled in conducting competitive benchmarking, customer analysis, and market segmentation to inform pricing decisions.
    • Collaboration & Communication: Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to present complex strategies clearly to senior executives.
    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related fields (i.e. MBA), advantageous but not required.

    Responsibilities


      • Pricing Strategy Implementation: Lead the design and execution of pricing strategies across all product lines, ensuring alignment with global growth objectives and market dynamics. With a specific focus on large enterprise commercial arrangements.

      • Packaging & Billing Experience: Own and continuously enhance the customer journey relating to billing, plan management, and upgrades, ensuring clarity and seamless customer transitions.
      • Market & Customer Analysis: Perform market research and competitive benchmarking to develop optimal pricing and packaging structures tailored to enterprise clients.
      • Customer Benefits & Value Insights: Analyse customer product usage and perceived value to inform strategic pricing adjustments, ensuring alignment between product value and pricing.
      • Financial Modelling & Forecasting: Model and forecast revenue impacts of proposed pricing initiatives, presenting clear, data-driven insights to senior management.
      • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, RevOps, GTM, Engineering and Finance to ensure pricing and packaging initiatives are effectively rolled out and communicated internally and externally.
      • Continuous Optimisation: Monitor the effectiveness of pricing strategies, gathering customer feedback to continually refine and improve our approach to pricing and packaging.
