THE ROLE & THE TEAM

The Commercial Pricing Team at Lounge by Zalando is responsible for developing strategies that use one of the most important levers we have - pricing - to drive profitable growth and an attractive product offering to millions of treasure-hunting customers each day.
As a Senior Pricing Strategist, you’re part of a high performing team driving a key and influential position to shape and drive strategic pricing initiatives with high commercial impact, along with a localized approach in your markets while fostering customer engagement. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinker looking to make a big impact in a fast-growing, 1.5b EUR Offprice business in Europe.
This is a high-impact role for someone with proven experience in owning large-scale strategic topics, strong analytical and commercial acumen, and the ability to guide and influence others across multiple functions and seniority levels.

  • You act like an owner by defining local pricing strategies, understand customer preferences in your specific markets and use those insights to drive strategic pricing decisions towards your respective markets.
  • You act like an owner in defining, planning, and driving cross-functional pricing strategies that align with company objectives, ensuring measurable impact on profitable growth and customer lifetime value.
  • You act as a thought leader and role model within the pricing team and broader commercial function, setting direction and supporting cross-functional prioritization.
  • You deliver compelling narratives and decision papers that influence senior leaders. Guide teams through decision-making processes with clarity and confidence, adjusting messaging for different audiences.
  • You influence and align senior stakeholders (Director, VP-level and above) through compelling arguments, evidence-based recommendations, and a deep understanding of their perspectives.
  • You use your strategic thinking and analytical mindset to tackle complex pricing challenges and come up with lean effective solutions in a fast and dynamic environment.
  • You consistently aim to improve and raise the standards of your team members, share best practices and coach towards effective stakeholder management, and structured problem solving. You contribute to hiring and community building within the Pricing & Commercial domain.
